Dark Chocolate Peppermint Fudge

Rich, silky fudge infused with peppermint and topped with crushed candy canes for a festive crunch. A classic holiday treat that’s quick to make and perfect for gifting.


INGREDIENTS

3 cups dark chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
1/2 cup crushed candy canes
Pinch of salt


INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 — Prepare the Pan

Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
Set aside.

Step 2 — Melt the Base

In a saucepan, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
Stir over low heat until fully melted and smooth.

Step 3 — Flavor the Fudge

Remove from heat.
Stir in peppermint extract and a pinch of salt.

Step 4 — Pour and Top

Spread the fudge into the pan evenly.
Sprinkle crushed candy canes over the top and press lightly so they stick.

Step 5 — Chill and Slice

Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
Cut into squares.
