3-Ingredient Skillet Apple Crisp
Ingredients
5 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
1 3/4 cups instant oatmeal
8 tablespoons butter, divided
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a bowl, mix the instant oatmeal with 6 tablespoons of cold butter, pressing together with your fingers until crumbly. Place in the fridge while preparing the apples.
In a 10-inch cast iron skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
Add the chopped apples and cook until slightly softened and lightly caramelized.
Remove from heat and sprinkle the chilled oat mixture evenly over the apples.
Bake for 18–24 minutes, until the topping is golden and the apples are bubbling.
Let cool slightly before serving warm.
